It begins here! The first-ever IDW event! Something goes horribly awry in the IDW universe: a dimensions-spanning zombie outbreak of epic proportions, which threatens to tear many of IDW's biggest realities asunder! The infestation moves to the Transformers universe, where buildings are falling, and the dead are rising! When Big-Bad Galvatron crash lands on Earth, something ain't right. It's up to our 'Bots-in-blue to run to the rescue or... well... EVERYONE to fight off not just Galvatron, but the zombie horde spreading through Las Vegas! Next, the disease spreads to the G.I. JOE universe, when a robotic arm of unknown origin has been discovered and both the JOEs and COBRA race to discover its secrets. Little do the two sides know that the arm has its own agenda - assimilating the world's military technology into the Infestation fold! A secret underwater COBRA base full of B.A.T.S. sounds like the perfect place to start!

An upside to the bark beetle infestation: wildflowers! They thrive in all the new open spaces. I almost wonder if this is how Colorado will make up for all the tourism lost when all the trees go away. Instead of dark green mountains covered with pine, maybe they'll have mountains carpeted with bright green grass and flowers.

Side note: I don't know flowers, though I tried to increase my knowledge with the internet. From what I could tell, nobody else knows flowers either.

Finally, Britt has returned, armed with new technology that will spread the Infestation across all known realities. The zombie apocalypse looms and the remaining members of CVO are running out of options...
